I love painting small and painting miniatures, and i don't use a magnifying glass although many such painters do. A small painting is what it is, and a miniature to exhibit must come in at set sizes demonstrated by the European societies.. they have the earliest history of this style of painting. The canvas can be largish but the dimensions of the paintings on or within the canvas must be as follows if you want to exhibit with other such societies across the world..
WHAT SIZE IS A MINIATURE?
Maximum Size Limit Of Framed Paintings 6" X 4.5" (15 X 11.5 Cm)
And 8" (20cm) For Sculpture, Across The Longest Length.
The Definition Of Miniature Art Is Not Absolute,
But Can Be Explained As Artwork Within The Size Remit Of 6 X 4.5" And Must Be Of Exquisite, Fine Detail.

I live in Morris Road Woodend, and that is where I am setting up our gallery and school of miniatures...
It is easy to remember, and I just love it. The logo can be fantastic too. I have always admired Kim Kardashian's logo and MM being very simple can flow in the same way.
